OUR STORY

Norsan Media is a division of Norsan , a company that was founded in 1987 Atlanta, GA. by businessman and entrepreneur, Norberto Sanchez.

Starting with Frontera Mex-Mex Grill in March 1987, Norsan then ventured into the processed meat industry and wholesale imports to vertically align its practices. Norsan’s successful restaurant expansion began with Pampas Steakhouse in March 2001 followed by Luciano’s Italian Ristorante in 2007. Presently, Norsan operates a vast restaurant division comprised of 14 fast-casual Mexican Restaurants, 2 casual Italian concepts and 1 fine dining and award winning Argentine steakhouse. The company also operates a central meat packaging plant and an additional out-of-state distribution center for improved logistics.

Seeing a parallel opportunity in radio broadcasting, the company entered the media industry by establishing a network of Hispanic targeting radio stations, a weekly Spanish newspaper (Hola Noticias), various online social and digital portals, and the production of several large-scale Hispanic festivals in the Carolinas. Norsan strives to be a model of excellence for the Latino community as one of the Top 70 companies within the Hispanic Business 500.

With projected growth within the Hispanic markets in the Southeast region of the US, we anticipate the possibility to continue to develop additional concepts within each of our divisions:  an expansion of restaurants, increased food processing and distribution, and additional media channels.
